АННОТАЦИЯ:

В статье рассматриваются особенности государственно-церковных отношений, сложившихся в период «горбачевской перестройки». Описываются исторические факты и события подготовки и празднования первого государственного православного юбилея в СССР. Эти исторические факты и события свидетельствуют о том, что празднование юбилея носило государственный характер и имело высокое международное значение. Партийные и государственные органы приняли активное участие в подготовке празднования юбилея. После празднования отношение государства и светского общества к Церкви кардинально изменилось. Впервые Центральный комитет КПСС принял документы, направленные на оказание существенной и разносторонней помощи в деятельности Русской Православной Церкви. Указания Центрального комитета КПСС об оказании помощи Церкви в связи с юбилеем были включены в распорядительные документы, изданные Правительством СССР. Насыщенная и разнообразная программа мероприятий постоянно расширялась, получая поддержку партийных и государственных органов. Эти мероприятия подробно освещались по телевидению, а также в центральных и местных средствах массовой информации. Во время празднования была осознана решающая роль Православия в истории Российского государства и общества. Рассмотрено влияние празднования на религиозную составляющую реформ «горбачевской перестройки». Выявлено, что подготовка и празднование в СССР первого государственного православного юбилея явились поводом для изменений государственно-церковных отношений. Под влиянием празднования 1000-летия Крещения Руси стали складываться новые условия для сверхактивно развивающейся церковной жизни в стране. Коренной перелом в отношениях между государством и Церковью пришелся на год празднования 1000-летия Крещения Руси. Материалы исследования могут быть рекомендованы при изучении современных проблем государственно-церковных отношений, истории России и истории Русской Православной Церкви.

HISTORICAL FACTS AND EVENTS SURROUNDING THE 1000TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BAPTISM OF RUS THAT INFLUENCED THE RELIGIOUS COMPONENT OF THE “GORBACHEV PERESTROIKA” REFORMS PDF

ABSTRACT:

The article examines the features of relations between the state and the Church formed during the period of “Gorbachev’s perestroika”. The historical facts and events of the preparation and celebration of the first state Orthodox jubilee in the USSR are described. These historical facts and events indicate that the jubilee celebration was of a state nature and had high international significance. The party and government agencies took an active part in the preparations for the anniversary celebration. After the celebration, the attitude of the state and secular society towards the Church changed dramatically. For the first time, the Central Committee of the CPSU adopted documents aimed at providing significant and versatile assistance in the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church. The instructions of the Central Committee of the CPSU on providing assistance to the Church in connection with the anniversary were included in the administrative documents issued by the Government of the USSR. The celebration’s rich and diverse program of events was constantly growing, receiving the support of the party and state authorities. These events were covered in detail on television, as well as in the central and local media. During the celebration, the crucial role of Orthodoxy in the history of the Russian state and society was realized. The influence of the celebration on the religious component of the reforms of Gorbachev’s perestroika is considered. It is revealed that the preparation and celebration of the first state Orthodox jubilee in the USSR was the reason for changes in relations between the state and the Church. Under the influence of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus, new conditions began to develop for the over-actively developing church life in the country. A fundamental turning point in relations between the state and the Church occurred in the year of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus. The research materials can be recommended in the study of modern issues of relations between the state and the Church, the history of Russia and the history of the Russian Orthodox Church.
