АННОТАЦИЯ:

В статье представлена попытка авторов ответить на вопрос об основных богословско-идеологических и военно-политических последствиях событий Первого крестового похода (1096-1099 гг.), изменивших судьбы христиан средневекового мира. Авторы уделяют особое внимание развитию дипломатических отношений между Византией и представителями европейской знати в свете дискуссии о принесении крестоносцами вассальной клятвы императору Алексею I.

ABSTRACT:

The article presents the authors ‘attempt to answer the question about the main theological-ideological and military-political consequences of the events of the first crusade (1096-1099), which changed the fate of Christians in the medieval world. The authors pay special attention to the development of diplomatic relations between the Byzantines and representatives of the European nobility in the light of the discussion on the vassal oath taken by the crusaders to Emperor Alexi. The scientific novelty and practical significance of the materials of this study is determined by the results of the authors ‘work with documentary written evidence of European contemporaries of the campaigns, the Byzantines. These sources are the evidence base in favor of the author’s position in assessing the causes and historical consequences for the history of the Church of the results and historical consequences of the events of the first crusade.
