АННОТАЦИЯ:

В 2025 году Православная Церковь вспоминает 1700‑летие I Вселенского Собора. В связи с этим актуальность данного исследования не вызывает сомнений, так как спор между свт. Афанасием и Арием является одной из главных дискуссий в истории христианства. Это событие произошло в IV веке. Споры почти сразу же разгорелись по всему христианскому миру, особенно в крупном городе Александрия и на Ближнем Востоке. Ключевым моментом спора стала истинная природа Христа, которая вызвала бурные дебаты по всей Римской империи. Цель данного исследования заключается в рассмотрении сути арианской ереси и аргументации свт. Афанасия, который оставил нам богатое богословское наследие. Он помог прояснить природу Святой Троицы, которая также имеет отношение к личности Иисуса Христа. Указывая на ошибки Ария, он также продемонстрировал важность чтения библейских стихов в контексте Священного Писания. Важно изучать богословские вопросы, поднятые Отцами Церкви, поскольку выводы, сделанные в ходе изучения самых ранних споров о вере, оказали огромное влияние на христианское богословие. Свт. Афанасий был ключевым участником дебатов, который вышел из них победителем, заслужив огромное уважение церковных лидеров. Исторически сложилось так, что аргументы свт. Афанасия и по сей день преобладают в христианском богословии, и ортодоксия определяется с его точки зрения. Именно благодаря роли свт. Афанасия как ярого защитника веры он почитается как героическая фигура Церкви. В результате решений Никейского собора Арий был обречён на осуждение в Церкви на все времена.

ABSTRACT:

In 2025, the Orthodox Church remembers the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council. In this regard, the relevance of the study is beyond doubt, since the dispute between St. Athanasius and Arius is one of the main debates in the history of Christianity. This event took place in the 4th century. The disputes almost immediately flared up throughout the Christian world, especially in the large city of Alexandria and the Middle East. The key point of the dispute was the true nature of Christ, which caused heated debates throughout the Roman Empire. The purpose of the study is to consider the essence of the Arian heresy and the arguments of St. Athanasius, who left us a rich theological heritage. He helped to clarify the nature of the Holy Trinity, which also relates to the person of Jesus Christ. Pointing out the mistakes of Arius, he also demonstrated the importance of reading biblical verses in the context of the Holy Scripture. It is important to study the theological questions raised by the Fathers of the Church because the conclusions made from studying the earliest controversies about the faith have had a profound impact on Christian theology. St. Athanasius was a key participant in the debates and emerged victorious, earning the respect of church leaders. Historically, St. Athanasius’ arguments still prevail in Christian theology to this day, and Orthodoxy is defined by his perspective. It is because of St. Athanasius’ role as an ardent defender of the faith that he is revered as a heroic figure in the Church. As a result of the decisions of the Council of Nicaea, Arius was condemned by the Church for all time.
